Varietal Composition: 99% Sauvignon Blanc; 1% other whites including Chenin Blanc & Viognier
Elaboration: The GEN5 Sauvignon Blanc comes from a collaboration between LangeTwins Winery and and Trellis Wine Group partner, Vino del Sol. The winemakers are Karen Birmingham and David Akiyoshi. The grapes come from Estate vineyards in Lodi, California. Aged 100% in Stainless Steel, with 4 months sur lie aged.
TASTING NOTES: The delightfully crisp Gen5 Sauvignon Blanc expresses delicate aromas of citrus, tropical fruits and white flowers. Notes of melon, lemongrass and gooseberry grace the palate and are framed by the clean and balanced finish.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
For five generations (since the 1870’s) the Lange family has lived and worked their land in Lodi, California, always striving to leave the land in a better state for the next generation. Johann and Maria Lange started out as watermelon farmers. The family moved into grape growing in 1916. Today, their vineyards are certified green by Lodi Rules Sustainable Wine-growing.
