Mout'Hard Rosé

Mout’Hard Rosé

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • 100% natural, non-filtered and with no added flavors.
  • 5% alcohol and only 30 calories.
  • 100% recyclable packaging.

Varietal Composition: 100% Pinot Noir

Elaboration: It is a blend between Pinot Noir from maceration & Spring Water from Chablis to reduce alcohol rate. According to Méthode Ancestrale, the wine is bottled before the primary fermentation is finished, delivering a lower pressure, lightly sparkling wine in the pétillant style. The wine is finished without the addition of secondary yeasts or sugars. Sparklingness is from natural second fermentation into the bottle.

Tasting Notes: Rosé gives a dark pink color. It’s a lively wine of subtle red berries aromas. This Rosé is a relevant wine of dessert with powerful aromas of flowers which goes perfectly with ice creams and bring freshness on the end of meal. It goes also perfectly with Canapés and its fruity aromas find the perfect association with Red fruit sorbet.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND

Two passionate brothers, Alexandre & Benoît Moutard and Thomas Lacunne, one day had the idea of creating the first Craft Hard-seltzer. Living in the Aube, in the village of Buxeuil, they create French whiskeys and other artisanal spirits in a distillery built by their family in 1892. And why not also create in this historic place the most crafted, the most natural and the most aware of hard-seltzers in the world?

They have now revealed the first bottles of their craft hard seltzer, Mout’Hard. The idea was to produce a light, easy-to-drink wine-based craft hard seltzer, designed to be eco-responsible right down to the last detail.
