WHY WE LOVE IT
- This blend is named after Joshua Wolfe, the scion of the Wolfe Family.
- The Zinfandel was sourced from Zephyr Ridge Vineyard which is located in Horse Heaven Hills.
- The Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from Destiny Ridge & Mckinley Springs vineyards which are located in Horse Heaven Hills.
Varietal Composition: 58% Zinfandel 42% Cabernet Sauvignon
Elaboration: After harvest the grapes were fermented to dryness in small open-top fermenters, and aged for 22 months in a mixture of French and American oak.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of dark fruit (cherry, cassis, strawberry, & plum), oak spice (vanilla & allspice), and rich with a full-bodied finish.

PRODUCER BACKGROUND
Thurston Wolfe is a small family winery owned by Wade Wolfe and Becky Yeaman, specializing in unique red & white table and dessert wines. Grapes are sourced from growers located in the Horse Heaven Hills and Yakima Valley AVA’s at sites best suited to the individual varieties. These sites and grower relationships were developed through Wade’s extensive contacts and knowledge of the region dating back to the late 1970’s.
Thurston Wolfe’s grape sourcing is based on Wade’s 40 years experience working with Washington State’s grape growers and vineyards. As the grape buyer first for Ste. Michelle in the 1980’s and later at Hogue Cellars in the 1990’s, he gained invaluable knowledge about the growing regions as well as the skill of the growers and quality of fruit.
