WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Fresh and fruity, this is a spot on example of Bardolino produced from indigenous grapes on the gentle morainic hills located in the Lake Garda (Bardolino Classico area – province of Verona).
  • During summer months we like to drink this outdoors with a slight chill on it.

Varietal Composition: Corvina 50%, Rondinella 40%, Molinara 10%

Elaboration: Manual harvest. Traditional red vinification with one week maceration in stainless steel.

Tasting Notes: Medium intensity ruby red. Fine, delicate, with hints of flowers. Velvety palate, full flavored and harmonic

PRODUCER BACKGROUND

Sitting in the hills of Bardolino, the Zeni family has spent the last 140 years dedicating themselves to producing some of the finest wines in Verona. Zeni’s lineup is broad and includes releases from Bardolino, Custoza, Lugana, Valpolicella, and Soave. Land holdings amount to 60 hectares of vines, and the family operates two wineries, one located in Bardolino and the other in Valpolicella. Zeni’s world renowned wine museum drives attention to the company, receiving over 100,000 visitors a year.
