Zeni Valpolicella Superiore Vignealte

Zeni Valpolicella Superiore Vignealte

WHY WE LOVE IT

  • Thanks to a careful manual selection of the grapes grown in our high hills, this Valpolicella Superiore has a greater roundness and a higher percentage of alcohol compared to the classic Valpolicella wines.
  • The aging process lasts for about a year in large Slovenian oak barrels…so much finesse here and we love the traditional approach used.

Varietal Composition: 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 10% Molinara

Elaboration: Hand selection of the best grapes reaching the optimum ripeness. Traditional skin fermentation with one week maceration. Ageing one year in big oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red. Velvety, elegant, with hints of hay and fruit. Harmonic, full-bodied and lingering
